Amanda Yachechak has been cast as the Death Swan in the developmental musical Kalevala. She and the cast have given concerts hosted by the Finnish Consulate and UN Ambassador, and a workshop production is slated for San Francisco in Sept. 2019.

Amanda Yachechak is an actress, singer and dancer from New Jersey. Fluent in French and German, she attended college in Switzerland, and went on to study at AMDA New York. She has appeared extensively in theatre, film and television, and as a concert artist throughout the US and internationally.
Amanda originated the role of Gracie in HIT Entertainment’s Angelina Ballerina Off-Broadway and on tour, and played Mabel in Scranton Shakespeare Festival’s The Pirates of Penzance, co-produced by Douglas Carter Beane. She was most recently seen at the National Opera Center and on television as Lena in Lady of the Castle.
She made her film debut in Last Days of Simon and starred in Cancer and Cake, winning awards at the Best Shorts Competition and the GAA Film Festival.
She studied classical ballet with Irine Fokine and Deborah Wingert, and is a company dancer and guest singer with the Niall O'Leary Irish Dance Troupe.
Amanda is drawn to period pieces and multi-lingual projects. She loves stories that explore other cultures and times in history.
